What worries me is that Israel is likely to get away with it, that it will succeed for the most part in its ethnic cleansing project. The civilized world will protest, will condemn, etc., but little by little things will return to "normal" and while its behavior will leave behind a dark stain, Israel will face few real repercussions.

TL:DR: Team R and Team D alike crave Israeli carrot and fear Israeli stick.

The rest of the world craves American carrot and fears American stick.

Yes, true, but the second sentence may become increasingly obsolete as new multilateral arrangements evolve, such as BRICS+. The American carrot will become smaller, as will the American stick, and nothing is doing more to promote these changes than U.S. behavior itself.

If our government leaders can kill folks around theg world that disagree with their policies shpuldn't we as vcitizens of the USA have the right to hire a hit man to kill our leaders here that disagree with what the majority of us want. Seemsfaree: do to them as they do to others*
