Kupchan, like most of the foreign policy establishment, could not care less, as long as he and people he cares about personally do not suffer.

U.S. propaganda has become increasingly deranged. Kupchan's article is among the most dishonest I've ever read. The Council on Foreign Relations should be deeply embarrassed to have printed such indigestible dreck.

According to Prof. Kupchan, the Ukrainians have forced the Russians into a stalemate thanks to U.S. assistance, and Biden has checked Chinese aggression by abandoning strategic ambiguity vis-a-vis Taiwan despite the State Dept.'s website which tells a very different story. Evidently, Kupcahn isn't aware that Ukraine has been wrecked, that a third world country without any navy at all has successfully blocked a critical commercial sea lane and humiliated the world's greatest navy in the process, and that Iran has penetrated Israel's impenetrable air defense system despite advance warning and the added protection of U.S. and French aircraft. Kupchan has also overlooked U.S. treachery in blowing up critical energy infrastructure of a key NATO ally and the U.S. sabotage of a peace agreement that could have ended the Ukraine War more than 2 years ago. These are among Biden's greatest foreign policy hits which also include intentional U.S. complicity in a mass murder and starvation campaign of a civilian population, accelerated de-dollarization, the formation of a Russia/China partnership against the West, and the heightened prospect of nuclear war. Joe Biden and his team of foreign policy morons have made the world a much more dangerous place.

As for Biden's domestic policy, Kupchan completely ignores the cost of living crisis which could very well lose the election for the Democrats.
