Trump wants to be a corrupt emperor of a vast and sprawling empire. He has no interest in being the president of a limited constitutional republic that minds its own business.
Trump is neither hawkish nor "isolationist". Trump is simply a halfwit, weak stupid and easily manipulated. He agrees with whatever the last person who talked to him said.
Trump also armed Ukraine, attempted to overthrow the Venezuelan government, walked away from nuclear weapons nonproliferation treaties/agreements, and intensified economic sanctions on Iran and Russia to stay aloof from foreign entanglements.
A number of the instances you cite of Trump engaging in the questionable use of military force seem to me to have been in response to genuine threats. Attacks on Syria were in response to its use of chemical weapons. Killing the Iranian Quds Force chief was a result of credible intelligence he was plotting anti-US terror attacks, in addition to the many attacks on American servicemen in Iraq he had already overseen. Attacks on Al-Shabab in Somalia were part of the GWOT, as were the increase in drone attacks on Islamic extremists who posed a threat to US interests. This is not empire building or sticking our nose in matters that are none of our business. It is defending our troops, diplomats overseas, and citizens in the Homeland. In one of your recent pieces, you criticized the US for seeking military primacy. But what is your alternative, a global order dominated by China, which seeks retribution against the West for years of exploitation and humiliation? Yes; the US has made some serious foreign policy errors, but your call for restraint in practice looks like isolationism.
If Trump wins, he's going to put Jared Kushner in charge of Middle East policy again. I'm surprised at how little this is discussed.

That you actually appear to believe the justifications tendered says volumes about you.
