Did you really ever think Biden would do otherwise? Stand up to Israel, are you kidding? For there is no conceivable agreement that can be reached with Iran that will make Israel happy

Meanwhile, the US wargames with Israel have taken on an increasingly threatening tone, simulating US assistance in an attack on Iran.

EDIT: on second thought, I was probably too hard on Biden.

While he is nominally in charge, Biden no more makes the decisions in the "'Biden' Administration" than the anthropomorphic hood ornament on a car determines the direction and speed of travel, than Pu Yi got to decide what documents he was going to seal that the Japanese put in front of him.

Like the hood ornament, Gramps is just along for the ride.

Whether or not the negotiations were made in good faith, which I doubt, it's all lost now. Iran isn't going to proceed with this off the table. American leadership through diplomacy is dead. It is only through force that the US government will do anything now. The rest of the world knows this and will proceed accordingly. Dying empires usually thrash violently in their death throes.

With the unanimous support of his Democratic enablers in the Congress, Biden is determined to keep turning up the heat on the Cold Wars he started with Russia and China, and now seems ready to give a green light to Israel to launch a hot war with Iran. Quite an accomplishment for his administration.

With his support currently tied with Trump’s lowest approval rating—and a recession, or worse, on the horizon, I look forward to the coming mid-terms.
