Trump's Unhinged Gaza Threat
Making such threats against the entire Palestinian population in Gaza is despicable and indefensible.
The president issued an unhinged ultimatum to all Palestinians in Gaza. This is the most relevant section:
This is your last warning! For the leadership, now is the time to leave Gaza, while you still have a chance. Also, to the People of Gaza: A beautiful Future awaits, but not if you hold Hostages. If you do, you are DEAD!
He also says that he is “sending Israel everything it needs to finish the job,” which amounts to boasting that he is an accomplice to war crimes and genocide. Making such threats against the entire Palestinian population in Gaza is despicable and indefensible. It also makes it more likely that the ceasefire breaks down, and that in turn puts the lives of the remaining hostages at much greater risk.
