Trump's Endless Iran Obsession

As awful as Biden’s record in the Middle East has been, especially in the last year, Trump is promising to be even worse.

Trump keeps reminding everyone that he isn’t an antiwar candidate:

There is nothing surprising about Trump’s support for an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. It is consistent with his own hardline record on Iran, and it is what we would expect from a reckless militarist. It is also the sort of mindless backing for Israel that Trump has demonstrated so many times over the years. Trump probably thought that supporting an Israeli attack would give him some sort of edge over Biden, who has correctly come out against attacking nuclear facilities. As awful as Biden’s record in the Middle East has been, especially in the last year, Trump is promising to be even worse. Trump’s dangerous Iran obsession hasn’t gone away.
