The Sadism of Sanctions Advocates
Imposing still more sanctions to make them even more “painful” is not a serious proposal. It is sadism masquerading as policy.
Haaretz reports that the Israeli government asked the Biden administration to impose even more sanctions on Iran if the talks in Vienna aren’t successful:
