The Hopeless, Rotten GOP

Supporting Trump’s murder spree is a new low in mindless hawkishness and deference to the president.

Senate Republicans proved once again that their party is hopeless and rotten on foreign policy:

Republicans in the Senate blocked a measure on Wednesday that would bar President Trump from using military force against boats in the Caribbean Sea, turning back an effort to check his power to wage war without authorization from Congress.

Sens. Paul and Murkowski were the only Republicans to vote for the measure. The ghoulish John Fetterman was the sole Democrat to vote against it. The other Senate Republicans not only voted to let the president continue murdering civilians in the Caribbean, but during the debate they also stood up and defended the president’s monstrous policy of summary executions.
