The 'Golden Dome' Scam

Every dollar spent on this project is a ridiculous waste of resources.

Now here is some waste, fraud, and abuse in the Trump administration’s plans:

US military officials are scrambling to develop a “Golden Dome” defense system that can protect the country from long-range missile strikes and have been told by the White House that no expense will be spared [bold mine-DL] in order to fulfill one of President Donald Trump’s top Pentagon priorities, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.

The system that Trump says he wants can’t be built. Whatever they end up building at enormous cost cannot provide the promised protection because it is impossible to do what they seek. To fund this scam, the administration will have to make huge increases to a military budget that is already bloated with excessive spending. Every dollar spent on this project is a ridiculous waste of resources.
