Regime Changers Are Con Artists
They try to sell you on their scam by promising huge benefits that will never materialize.
Elliott Abrams makes a lot of empty promises of what regime change in Venezuela would bring:
Removing Maduro, on the other hand, would advance Washington’s interests, protect U.S. national security, and benefit Venezuelans and their neighbors. Regime change would result in reduced migration to the United States, less drug trafficking, more freedom and prosperity in Venezuela, and an end to the country’s cooperation with China, Cuba, Iran, and Russia, which gives countries hostile to U.S. interests a base of operations on the South American mainland.
Advocates of regime change are con men. They try to sell you on their scam by promising huge benefits that will never materialize. Regime changers will paint a picture of a bright future for both the U.S. and the targeted country, and then when none of it happens they are suddenly nowhere to be found and we are the ones left holding the bag. After being conned more than a few times in the last twenty-five years, most Americans have figured out that regime changers are professional liars. Why should anyone believe their lies this time?
