McMaster's Imperial Policing Without End
The U.S. would very likely not achieve McMaster’s definition of victory even if U.S. forces garrisoned Afghanistan until 2121.
H.R. McMaster uses Veterans Day as an excuse to repeat his usual litany of self-serving claims about the war in Afghanistan. In the process, he unwittingly showed us why continuing the war was unnecessary:
Winning in Afghanistan meant ensuring that Afghanistan never again became a haven for jihadist terrorists.
