Don't 'Take Over' Gaza

Trump sees what he considers choice real estate in some other part of the world and he cooks up some pretext for stealing it.

Trump’s expansionism apparently extends even to Gaza:

President Donald Trump said Tuesday he wants the U.S. to take ownership of the Gaza Strip and redevelop it after Palestinians are resettled elsewhere.

Not only is Trump continuing to endorse the criminal and outrageous ethnic cleansing of Gaza, but he is also proposing taking over the land as a sort of colonial development site. When he was pressed on this issue, Trump said that he would deploy U.S. troops there “if it’s necessary” and that he envisioned “long-term ownership” of the territory. This would be deranged, unjust, and illegal.
