Canada’s Liberal Party won their general election yesterday in one of the most astonishing political revivals on record:

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney's Liberals staged a major political comeback to retain power in parliamentary elections, fuelled by a backlash against U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs and comments on making Canada the 51st U.S. state.

The Canadian people stood up for their country after our president began launching his deranged attacks on our neighbor. Canada has shown the world that they won’t be intimidated or bullied into submission. This election result is the first repudiation of Trump at the polls in an allied country, but I suspect there will be many more like it in the coming years.
