Contrary to the myth that the U.S. has been pulling back from the Middle East, the U.S. military presence grew under Trump and now it is still growing under Biden.
The U.S. is reportedly sending about 5,000 additional troops to the Middle East:
The US is sending more troops to the Middle East as tensions with Iran continue to build after several encounters between American and Iranian vessels.
The Biden administration has not reduced the U.S. military presence in the region, and it has instead added to it. The additional troops come on the heels of an announcement of more ships and planes being sent to the region. This is the same thing that the Trump administration did.
